Training Walks

What is it?

Training walks at Mythic Paws are a great way to help your pup tackle real-world challenges like leash manners, reactivity, and more. During these sessions, our trainer will take your dog on a guided walk, working one-on-one to reinforce positive behaviors in everyday situations, from distractions to proper leash etiquette. Leave the stress of walking your pup behind – our trainer will handle everything while you take a breath, knowing your dog is in good hands, learning, growing, and making progress in the real world. Receive a detailed report after each walk, outlining how your pup did, the behaviors we focused on, and any progress made.

What to Expect:

  • Each walk reinforces good behavior and addresses issues like leash reactivity, where dogs bark or pull at distractions. We focus on keeping your dog calm, focused, and on a loose leash.

  • You can schedule walks based on your availability, and we’ll work around your needs for consistency.

  • Our trainer will handle the walk, giving you a break while your dog continues to learn in real-life situations.

  • Receive a detailed report after each walk, outlining how your pup did, the behaviors we focused on, and any progress made.

Bonus:

  • After 5 walks, you’ll receive a mini-lesson on how to implement the new skills your dog has learned, giving you the tools to reinforce progress at home.
